Fantasy NASCAR Picks for the 2025 Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville: Best Bets, Sleepers & Strategy

Fantasy-NASCAR-Picks-for-the-2025-Cracker-Barrel-400-at-Nashville-Best-Bets-Sleepers-Strategy-Drivingonmarbles

Hey race fans, Bryan here!

We’re revving things up this week for the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway, and if you’re like me, you’re laser focused on squeezing every point out of your fantasy roster. Nashville isn’t your average intermediate track, it’s concrete, it’s slick, and it rewards rhythm and tire management like few others on the circuit. Whether you’re chasing the league leader or trying to hold your ground, this is the week where smart picks make a difference.

Let’s break down who I’m rolling with and why I think they’ll deliver when the green flag drops.

Locked In: Tyler Reddick (#45 – 23XI Racing)

Tyler Reddick is my go-to guy this season, and Nashville could be the place he breaks through.

His consistency on intermediate and technical tracks is unmatched. While he’s still hunting for his first win of 2025, he’s been quietly racking up top 10s and maximizing stage points, exactly what we need for fantasy scoring.

Watch for Reddick to be near the front late in the race, especially if tire strategy comes into play.

Top 12 Fantasy Picks: Proven Performers Ready to Deliver

These are the guys sitting in the top 12 in points for a reason and at a place like Nashville, their pace and precision could be the difference makers.

I’m leaning into drivers who have dominated stage racing and show strong intermediate track tendencies.

Kyle Larson (#5 – Hendrick Motorsports)

Larson is always a threat when it comes to high-grip, rhythm-based tracks like Nashville. His ability to get in a groove, manage tires, and pounce late in the run makes him a high-upside pick this week. If he stays out of trouble, he’s a lock for big stage points and a top 5 finish.

William Byron (#24 – Hendrick Motorsports)

Byron’s season has been incredibly consistent. He’s been racking up points with smooth stage racing and strong finishes. He’s also performed well at similar ovals and knows how to work the long green-flag runs Nashville tends to serve up. Byron’s a safe bet to pad your fantasy total this weekend.

Sleeper Picks Outside the Top 12: Underdogs with Upside

Let’s talk value picks.

These drivers are flying under the radar but have what it takes to break into the top 10, or even contend for a stage win.

Whether it’s past success on similar tracks or improving form, they’ve earned a spot on my roster.

Chris Buescher (#17 – RFK Racing)

Buescher has quietly been one of the most reliable stage point earners outside the top 12.

His recent runs show he’s figuring out how to stay clean and finish strong. Nashville suits his driving style, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him flirt with the top 5.

Ryan Preece (#60 – Stewart-Haas Racing)

Preece has shown flashes of pace and patience this season, particularly on shorter tracks and intermediates.

He’s aggressive on restarts and keeps his car clean, which can pay off big time in Nashville’s long green flag segments. He’s my dark horse for this week.

Ty Gibbs (#54 – Joe Gibbs Racing)

Ty’s a young gun with momentum. He’s been sniffing the top 10 for weeks now and Nashville’s layout could be the perfect place for a breakout.

His ability to find speed late in races makes him a solid choice to sneak into the top 10—and rack up some stage points along the way.

Final Thoughts: Strategy & Momentum for Nashville

With Reddick locked in as my mainstay, I’m doubling down on performance and stage dominance with Larson and Byron from the top 12.

From the outside group, Buescher, Preece, and Gibbs bring high-upside potential and solid form.

It’s a blend of proven contenders and hungry underdogs, tailor-made for a track that demands discipline and speed.

The Cracker Barrel 400 goes green on Sunday, June 2, 2025, and I’ll be watching every lap with this crew locked in.

Here’s hoping they drive us straight to the top of the fantasy standings.

Catch you after the checkered flag!
