Fantasy NASCAR Picks for the 2025 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Fantasy-NASCAR-Picks-for-the-2025-Brickyard-400-at-Indianapolis-Motor-Speedway

Hey everyone, it’s Bryan here. This week, we are heading to one of the most iconic tracks in all of motorsports, the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway, for the 2025 Brickyard 400.

If you’re like me, this is one of those weekends you circle on your calendar. The Brickyard has a way of bringing out the best and worst in drivers, and that makes it a blast for fantasy picks.

So let’s break it all down and get you the best lineup possible for a shot at some serious points.

My Top Fantasy Picks from the Top 12

Alright, so we’re talking the best of the best here. The top 12 drivers this season have been racking up wins, stage points, and top 10s like it’s their full-time job, which, well, it is.

But at Indy, it’s not just about speed. It’s about precision, track position, and having a crew that nails the calls.

Here’s who I’m going with.

Tyler Reddick, My Locked In Driver

Reddick is my season long anchor, and I’m not even thinking about changing that.

He’s been dialed in lately, and while the Brickyard hasn’t been his strongest track historically, he’s shown this year that he can adapt quickly and keep the car clean.

He’s got the talent, the team, and the momentum to rack up points again this weekend.

Kyle Larson, Bring the Heat

Larson is always a risky pick but in the best way.

He’s got that raw speed and fearless style that can completely shake up a race, especially on restarts where he shines.

If the No. 5 team hits the setup, Larson has the potential to win stages and the whole race.

You want points? Larson can get you a boatload.

Denny Hamlin, Mr. Consistency

Hamlin’s been doing this a long time, and he knows how to work Indy.

He’s great at qualifying and even better at staying out of trouble.

The 11 team usually shows up strong at flat tracks, and Hamlin knows how to keep it clean and fast all day long.

He’s a safe, solid pick that can still bring home big numbers.

What If I Didn’t Have Reddick?

If Reddick wasn’t locked in for me, my top alternate pick would be William Byron.

Quietly consistent all season long, Byron has the kind of smooth driving style that works really well at Indy.

He’s not always the flashiest, but he gets results, and in fantasy, that’s what matters.

Three Strong Picks Outside the Top 12

The secret to winning your fantasy pool isn’t just picking the top dogs. It’s finding value picks who can sneak in with a strong top 10 run and grab some stage points.

This week, I’ve got three guys outside the top 12 who I think could deliver big.

Kyle Busch, Never Count Him Out

Sure, Busch has had a bit of a rollercoaster year, but when it comes to tracks like Indy, experience counts for a lot. He knows how to manage long runs, work pit strategy, and take advantage when others make mistakes. If he qualifies decent, watch out.

Brad Keselowski, Always Calculated

Keselowski is a brainy driver who knows how to play the long game. He’s great at keeping his nose clean and capitalizing when chaos breaks out around him. He might not lead every lap, but he’s more than capable of delivering a solid fantasy performance this weekend.

Michael McDowell, The Quiet Contender

McDowell doesn’t get enough credit for how smart and clean he races. He’s the kind of guy who avoids the mess, picks up spots on pit strategy, and ends up quietly finishing P8 while everyone else is wrecked or pit cycled out. He’s a great value add to your lineup this week.

Wrapping It Up at the Brickyard

Driver Category Why I Picked Them
Tyler Reddick Main Driver Consistent, sharp, and my locked in driver
Kyle Larson Top 12 High speed, high risk, high reward
Denny Hamlin Top 12 Veteran presence with a history of strong Indy runs
William Byron If Not Reddick Ultra consistent with solid upside
Kyle Busch Outside Top 12 Tons of experience and knows how to survive chaos
Brad Keselowski Outside Top 12 Strategic thinker with sneaky top 10 potential
Michael McDowell Outside Top 12 Reliable and clean with top 10 upside

So that’s my fantasy lineup for the Brickyard 400.

I’ve got Reddick locked in as my anchor, backed up by two heavy hitters in Larson and Hamlin.

If I wasn’t running Reddick, Byron would be my go-to replacement.

And for those bottom tier picks, Busch, Keselowski, and McDowell give me just the right mix of upside and value.

It’s a tricky track, but if these guys execute, we’re in for a solid points weekend.

Let’s hope the tire gods are with us and our lineups hold strong from green flag to checkered.

Enjoy the race!
