Results Are In For The Pure Michigan 400

Here’s Our Results For The 2014

PURE MICHIGAN 400

Jeff Gordon has definitely figured out the restart. Jeff, who fought off Joey logano on lap 183 never looked back as he headed to victory lane  at Michigan International Speedway for his 91st career victory. This win also moved Gordon back into top spot in the points as well beating out Dale Earnhardt Jr. by 3 points!

There are exactly 150 points which separates 1st from last place in our points with plenty of racing to go. Only 2 position changes this week. I moved into 2nd and Tracie drops into 3rd with Carl nipping at our heals. Look out Blair, here come the Kenny’s…lol

Have a great week folks!

Our Picks For the Pure Michigan 400

Here’s Our Picks For The 2014

PURE MICHIGAN 400

Jeff Gordon was lighting fast on Friday afternoon to win yet another Coors Light pole. He actually set a new track record at Michigan International Speedway. This is Jeff Gordon‘s second consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole win after winning the pole at Michigan last weekend.

Well Tracie, I guess NASCAR overheard our discussion the other day regarding drivers not being allowed to leave their cars. They just implemented a new rule which prevents drivers from leaving their vehicle until told to do so from officials.

To read more about the new rule and driver reaction videos CLICK HERE

We’ve got a couple of people who didn’t make picks this weeks and a few who are illegal…Let’s see who everyone picked this week.

Let’s hope for a rain free day in Michigan. Have a great race folks!

Results For The 2014 CHEEZE-IT 355 AT WATKINS GLEN

Here’s Our Results For The 2014

CHEEZE-IT 355 AT WATKINS GLEN

AJ ALLMENDINGER WINS HIS FIRST AT WATKINS GLEN

Now that’s what I call racing! I love road races and Watkins Glen International did not disappoint! Marcos Ambrose and AJ Allmendinger battled right to the very end with Allmendinger winning the battle by passing Ambrose in turn 6 of the final lap.

So how did it turn out for us this week? Well there was movement from almost everyone this week. This is how it played out for us.

Have a great week folks.

Jeff Gordon WINS HIS THIRD COOR LIGHT POLE AWARD ON HIS SONS BIRTHDAY.

Here’s how our picks turned out this week. We’ve got a few illegal drivers this week folks…

Because of the tragic accident which happened yesterday, Tony Stewart has opted not to race in today’s Sprint Cup. Regan Smith will be racing in his place.

Here’s a video of the accident I found on YouTube
