Fantasy NASCAR Picks for Las Vegas: My Lineup for the 2025 South Point 400

Hey race fans, we’re heading to Sin City for one of the biggest 1.5-mile challenges of the year: the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This track is fast, bumpy, and puts a premium on balance and tire wear.

It’s also a playground for the bold—if your driver has speed and isn’t afraid to run the high line, this is the week they can rack up massive points.

As always, I’ve locked in my main guy for the season, and I’ve scouted out two top-tier contenders along with three heavy-hitters flying under the radar outside the top 12. This week’s mix gives me power, consistency, and sneaky stage point potential.

Let’s dig into my full fantasy lineup for Vegas.

Locked and Loaded: Tyler Reddick – My Ride or Die

Tyler Reddick’s been my main driver all season, and I’m sticking with him in Vegas. While he hasn’t won at this track (yet), his recent performances on 1.5-mile ovals are nothing to ignore. Reddick is one of the few drivers who consistently runs the high line, and Las Vegas rewards that bravery—especially on long runs.

Plus, Toyota’s intermediate package has looked strong lately, and Reddick’s trending in the right direction when it comes to stage finishes. He might not be the odds-on favorite, but don’t be shocked if he’s contending for a win or top 5 when the sun goes down in Nevada.

Top-12 Picks That Could Steal the Show

Kyle Larson – Vegas Dominance + Stage Point Monster

Kyle Larson is a no-brainer at Las Vegas. He’s won here, he qualifies well, and he’s a monster when it comes to stage points. Even when he doesn’t win, he runs up front and racks up fantasy gold. He’s my #1 top-12 choice this week.

Ross Chastain – Undervalued Pick with Strong Vegas Stats

Ross Chastain flies under the radar at Vegas, but here’s a fun fact: he has the second-best average finish at this track in recent seasons. He’s aggressive, fast, and has a knack for bringing home top-10s. If he stays out of trouble, this could be a huge points week for him.

Outside the Top 12: Three Must-Have Sleepers

Alex Bowman – Back to Where He Shined

Alex Bowman is a former Vegas winner, and he’s still sneaky good on 1.5-mile tracks. He might not be flashy, but his consistency makes him a great fantasy play when you’re looking for value outside the top 12.

Ty Gibbs – Young Gun on the Rise

Ty Gibbs has quietly been building speed, and Vegas suits the Toyota package. He’s starting to show consistency, and if he can nail qualifying, I like his chances to snag stage points and finish strong.

Brad Keselowski – Veteran Craft + Long Run Strength

Brad Keselowski might be outside the top 12, but don’t sleep on him. He’s one of the best in the garage when it comes to managing a race at tracks like Vegas. He’s also sneaky good at scoring stage points, which gives him real fantasy value this week.

Final Fantasy Lineup Recap for Las Vegas

Alright folks, let’s lock it in! Here’s the crew I’m rolling with for the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway — a track where mile-and-a-half muscle meets playoff pressure.

  • Main Driver (Locked): Tyler Reddick
He’s been dialed in on intermediates and brings momentum into Vegas. With the playoffs in full swing, I’m betting he shows up ready to rumble. Solid stage racer and a threat to win.

  • Top 12 Picks:

    • Kyle Larson – The high-side hero. Larson’s resume at Las Vegas is elite with a win, multiple top-5s, and one of the best average finishes. When the grip is good and the tires wear down, Larson thrives.

    • Ross Chastain – Surprisingly consistent here. The Watermelon Man has one of the best average finishes at Vegas and has a way of quietly stacking stage points when you need them most. Sleeper pick vibes, but the stats back it up.

  • Outside the Top 12 Picks:

    • Alex Bowman – Former Vegas winner, smooth as silk on 1.5-milers. His speed hasn’t always translated to wins lately, but in terms of raw pace and past success here, he’s a very savvy choice.

    • Ty Gibbs – The rookie is maturing fast. He’s shown strong qualifying speed and his Toyota camp has been top-tier on this style of track. Could surprise with stage points or even sneak into the top 10.

    • Brad Keselowski – Don’t sleep on Brad K. He’s a wily vet with multiple Vegas wins and tends to shine when others falter. His experience and strategic driving style make him a potential points machine, especially if chaos strikes.

This lineup balances raw speed (Larson, Reddick), high floor consistency (Chastain, Keselowski), and dark-horse upside (Gibbs, Bowman). Whether you’re stacking Toyotas or spreading out manufacturer coverage, this crew keeps you flexible while maximizing potential points across stages and the final finish.
